Longing

• Longing: The door that opens from the inside
What if what you've been searching for your whole life is already inside you?
knocking on a door. It opens. I knocked from the inside.
• Longing: The pain of what never was and the desire for what cannot be
How can you long for something that never happened?
I suffer from the pain of the thought that I could have been someone else.
• Longing: When yearning turns into prison or wings
What is the difference between longing that paralyzes and longing that moves you?
and the peace of a captive of yearning, who sheds his tears like the dew of Hermon, and longs for them to fall upon your mountains.
• Longing: The unsatisfied desire and the path to infinity
Why does the human heart long for something that nothing in this world can satisfy?
It is that of an unsatisfied desire which is itself more desirable than any other satisfaction.
• Longing: The heart that cannot find rest and the spark that still burns
Is longing a punishment for absence, or proof that we are still alive?
for you have made us for yourself, and our heart is restless until it rests in you.
